Steve upgraded the drag & checked over my Shimano Trinidad 30a reel. Went on a jigging trip on the Clansman with Dove charters operating out of Kawhia. Caught Kingi's all day best being 20kg. The reel had great stopping power & was very smooth. The set up was shared with 4 guys & didn't stop all day. Didn't miss a beat very happy costomer. My wife dropped my Tica Sculptor SL100 over the side of our boat. Now I'm a lucky guy that my wife loves fishing... but I admit to getting a tad excited about one of my favorite reels going for a swim.. Seriously good reel servicing, gave me honest advice about some of my older reels and pimped a couple of reels with Carbon Tex drags, which are super smooth even with a high drag pressure. Highly recommended.
